About

On a cold winter night in 1994, the Ottawa Senators were playing in front of an unusually quiet home crowd. I was a dedicated Senators fan and loved my team despite their lack of wins that season. We were facing another loss when I decided to get up and do something out of the ordinary to help rev up the crowd. I stood on my seat and started to dance like a lunatic. The crowd responded and the music kept coming. The fans were all turning to me thinking, “You better keep dancing pal.” I went to the aisles, got even crazier and just did whatever my body could! The fans and team were inspired and we ended up with a win that night.

This spontaneous outburst of support was the launching pad for my full-time career as a “Sports Entertainer,” motivational speaker, and television host. My antics and cheering for sports teams have led me to over 800 live events at stadiums and arenas across North America for teams in 22 different leagues meeting over 7.5 million people. Crazy, I know…

I often reflect on my crazy career and can’t help but feel lucky. For the last 12 years I’ve been on over 600 airplanes, traveled hundreds of thousands of miles by car, and done just about anything to get fans into the game. Sometimes they don’t need much, other times it takes all I’ve got. I’ve been to games with 10,000 people and others with 1,000.

I’ve cheered at gold medal games, minor league games, college games and championship games. But the one thing that remains the same is my desire to make each night feel like the first. Ultimately the fans want to be entertained and I’ll do just about anything to make sure that happens. I dance, cheer, start the wave, get people up and out of their seats, toss tons of t-shirts, do comedy bits, and interact with fans. I love what I do and at each event I have the opportunity to connect with all sorts of people.
